About this session
Dr. Ray Muzyka co-founded BioWare in 1995 after completing his MD. He practised rural locum emergency and family medicine while serving as CEO of BioWare, which was the fastest-growing company in Alberta in 2002, won many industry awards for quality and innovation, and was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for multiple years.
Retired after 20 years in video games in late 2012, Dr. Muzyka is now in his third career chapter at ThresholdImpact mentoring entrepreneurs in medical innovations and social enterprise technology. He is an active angel impact investor across North America and an Order of Canada recipient.
